The former Co-Host of Overhaulin’ on TLC, Adrienne Janic is now hosting the new Fall 2013 series “Fit, Fabulous, and Famous” on the Veria Living Network.

She was also a fun and outgoing West Coast correspondent for another series on the same network- “Naturally Beautiful” which allowed the American actress and television host to share fabulous spa finds, beauty secrets as well as latest fitness tips. “I ended up doing a lot of segments for that show,” she said. “Which was fun!”

Popularly known as ‘AJ’ in the automotive world, Janic has captivated viewers with her elegant beauty and impressed them with her gained knowledge and experience of classic car restoration. Before joining Overhaulin’ full time, Janic had been a recurring figure on the show. She played different characters and described it as being fun. “It’s so much fun playing different characters and improvising for the hidden camera,” Janic said. “You can only rehearse so much because you never know how the “mark” is going to react, AND you only have one shot!”

Before accepting the offer as the co-host for Overhaulin’, Janic had informed the network that she knew nothing of cars. “Before I answer yes, I want you to know that I know absolutely nothing about cars,” she had said. Janic was satisfied when the network informed her that they needed someone who would “ask all the questions that people would normally be asking at home.” The network felt that her name was too feminine for a car makeover show. “So I told them my friends also call me “AJ”, she said. “AJ was more of a tomboy/garage name than Adrienne. They loved it, and I was officially AJ for the show.”

Janic expanded her knowledge through the show and was later able to design and build a 1968 Firebird on the series “Hot Rod TV” on the Speed Channel. She also hosted the show “Hot Import Nights” on the same channel and appeared in various television series such as “Las Vegas”, “House”, “Complete Savages”, “Oliver Beene”, “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment” and “Kitchen Confidential”.

The TV host who has graced the covers and pages of many magazines and print advertisements is still with Ford Models and said she considers herself lucky for staying out of trouble in the modeling world, which can come with a lot of “horror stories”. Her favorite campaigns include Lee Jeans, Bausch & Lomb, and Parallel Clothing amongst others.
“As far as growth in my career, the traveling was the most beneficial,” Janic said. “I have learned so much from the countries that I’ve been to, the people that I’ve met, the food, the languages, the cultures and adventures. I wouldn’t trade those travel experiences for anything since they helped me with my acting and hosting career as well.”

Janic continues to model while filming ‘Fit, Famous, & Fabulous’ until the end of next year. “The show will be more than just seeing a celebrity in the gym with a trainer,” she said. “It’s been great meeting and working with celebs who I admire and I am a fan of.”
