In today’s society, our global economic change is impacting everyone’s livelihood. This has put a major crutch on everyone’s way of life especially all the creatives out there. Everyone is silent throughout this pandemic and our ability to be heard is clouded by COVID-19. James Baldwin once said, “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced”. This gave birth to the “Hear ME” movement. A FaceTime captured portrait with the note that our subjects want to relay. From something they lost in this event, what they miss, how it impacted them etc. These are the messages they kept inside within their quarantine faze. My goal is to let people express how they feel and what they’re going through in the midst of the chaos. As human beings we will overcome this event of our life, we will either find a way or make one. With struggles and failure, we find success as we pull together as one big community. For now, we will take this time and UNITE and #HearME.
