Simple tailoring with dramatic touches was abounding at the CZAR presentation of the new Spring/Summer 2014 line. Ethereal white makeup and slicked wet hair were very on trend in the beauty department, and cuff bracelets gave the perfect accessory finish.

Demonstrations are always a welcome change from the usual runway shows, because they allow observers to spend as much time as they need with each piece, and give the ability to walk around and view it from all angles. Sheer lining between sections of the collection and prop bicycles brought the looks to life and also showed the easy wear of the line.

Sparkle mini dresses and patterned pant suits were eye catching but wearable, and CZAR kept things balanced by using simple shoes with the brighter looks and visa versa on the more understated designs. While some of the styles were a bit over the top (think a mixed pattern hooded silk jumpsuit), the line overall showed the expansive possibilities of ready to wear lines, and the positives of showcasing via a still model demonstration over a runway.
