The GoPro HERO4 Session is here and at 2.6 ounces, it is the smallest and lightest GoPro yet.
The HERO4 Session’s petite structure makes it ultra-flexible for mounting and is designed to fit in every mounting accessory. The new model comes with the all-new ball joint buckle, which allows for easy 360 degree rotation.
The new model is also waterproof, so there is no need to attach a separate casing. The camera is capable of reaching up to 10 meters or 33 feet. Another feature that is new to the HERO4 Session is the auto-image rotation. Now when the camera is mounted upside down, the camera automatically adjusts the frame right side up, sparing you some time when editing footage later on.
The HERO4 Session has just one button to control the beginning and end of your session. Once you press the button once, the camera is powered on and will begin filming your session, and the second press powers the camera off.
Like other GoPro designs, the HERO4 Session gives you the Super View angle, immersing the viewer into a wide angle of your adventure. The popular gadget also captures 8MP photos and is able to snap 60 frames per second, creating crystal-clear video and photo quality.
By connecting the HERO4 Session to the GoPro app or smart remote, users will be able to connect to the built-in wifi and bluetooth to gain full control of the camera and its settings. Then, you can modify your video resolution, field of view, frame rate and more.
The GoPro HERO4 Session is 50% smaller and 40% lighter than any other HERO4 model, making it super convenient to grab on the go, pack for vacation or wear it wherever your adventure takes you.
