700 is a fairly large number, especially when counting the number of locations of a business. Thanks to sheer determination and hard work, Marriott is claiming the number 700 as its latest count of worldwide hotels. The latest and greatest is nowhere other than the loop of Chicago, and will be the largest extended stay hotel they have.
To celebrate this milestone 700th property and the world’s largest Residence Inn, Marriott celebrated in style with a grand opening of the Residence Inn Chicago Downtown/Loop. Designed for long stays, Residence Inn by Marriott includes suits with living, sleeping and cooking areas. Additional amenities include grocery delivery, 24-hour markets, complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi, and health and fitness options.
Located at the intersection of LaSalle Street and Madison Avenue, this Residence Inn by Marriott is the new urban flagship with 380 rooms and 7500 square feet of meeting space. This impressive new hotel seems to fit in perfectly with the historic Roanoke Building, known for its impressive architecture, including tall arches and columns. “Steeped in history, but redesigned and re-imagined to excite today’s traveler, this new hotel is the epitome of what extended stay and Residence Inn has to offer,” said Diane Mayer, vice president and global brand manager, Residence Inn. “Guests are able to navigate through a unique architectural experience while still receiving all the services and amenities that they expect to help them maximize their stay and get the most out of their trip.”
