The ultimate cocktail to celebrate your New Year’s good fortune has arrived. Hennessy V.S.O.P has created a new recipe, Lucky Rooster, a tasty ode to the Chinese New Year and this year’s animal.
The Hennessy V.S.O.P. Lucky Rooster showcases the promise of a great year along with the sweet smell of success. The unusual, but delicious drink uses Chinese Five-Spice which can add warm spice to meals and drinks. It’s considered a go-to Chinese condiment, traditionally used for Asian dishes (normally fatty meats such as pork, duck or goose), but can also be the secret weapon behind a modern cognac cocktail with a Chinese twist.
Chinese New Year focuses on wealth, happiness and good fortune. It is the most important and longest holiday in Chinese culture. Countries from the United States to Rwanda, hosted festivities to mark the new year, according to the Chinese culture ministry. For generations, Cognac has long been a staple in the Lunar year celebrations and the Lucky Rooster will serve as the perfect cocktail for this year or any time.
