Fathom Events is calling all Whovians back to the big screen for a two night in-theaters special. On September 15th and 16th, Doctor Who fans across the United States will be able to watch the two-part season finale on the big screen.
To all Whovians, the question isn’t if you’ve already seen the season eight finale episodes entitled Dark Water and Death in Heaven. The question, however, is if you’ve seen the the season finale in 3D.
All Whovians in attendance will watch the season eight finale in 3D, feeling like the doctor himself. If that isn’t a good enough reason to come out for the special, perhaps the fact that never-before-seen footage will change your mind.
This footage includes a prequel scene to the first episode of season nine, as well as interviews with the stars of Doctor Who, Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman.
This Doctor Who 3D extravaganza will take place in about 700 movie theaters across the U.S. this September before the ninth season airs on BBC America.
