Rebecca Minkoff is a celebrity favorite thanks to her structured handbag, and is also well known for her strong social media presence. But no Instagram photo could fully capture the edgy beauty of the designer’s Spring/Summer 2014 line. And though the stars did come out to support her, fashionista Kelly Osbourne included, the shining stars of the evening were the head-to-toe looks.

This collection had a tribal theme, with a “South of the Border” feel that included floral embroidery, light fabrics and a “Let’s Mexico” tee shirt. From there, Minkoff headed east with flowing maxi dresses and thicker striped jackets. The high-low hemlines from last year have been replaced with a waterfall hem that swayed with the models’ every step. Minkoff also strayed slightly from the popular orange palette to include yellow and pink as well.

In addition to elevating her style game, Minkoff’s purses were still definite parts of the show. Next season seems to mean lots of stud detailing on sleek clutches and larger sizes, all of which were perfectly paired with Minkoff designed jewels and shoes. The shoes were also fantastic – everything from pointy-toe pumps to booties with strategic cut outs to knee-high lace-up heels.
